Some Rewards Other Than Money

 Rewards for your team do not have to be expensive! Check out this list of items that have been requesting by employees to their managers.  

  • An award, preferably given in front of my peers - even a bookmark reward or a paper certificate of praise
  • A thank you, in writing, from the practice owner
  • A note or email from my immediate manager to the practice owner about my excellent performance
  • Frequent pats on the back
  • My supervisor actually implementing one of my ideas
  • A chance to help create strategies to meet the next goal
  • A day off
  • Words of praise in front of my family or written directly to my family
  • A chance to go to lunch with the practice owner
  • An opportunity to work with team members from other departments of the practice
  • A change in job title
  • A small memento or gift
  • Some flexibility in my work schedule
  • Switch roles with my immediate supervisor for half a day
  • A seminar or training class
