The DND button - what it is and how to use it.

You may have noticed a button on your phone labeled as "DND". It's a handy feature but it can also lead to panic when you don't realize it's been pressed. 😱 |

This is your DO NOT DISTURB button. Need to step away from your phone? Short staffed? Whatever the case, when you want to stop a phone from ringing, you can use the DND feature. But... ...Don't forget to TURN OFF DND MODE to continue receiving calls! How can I tell if the DND mode is on? You will see the DND text on your display if currently in DND Mode. In some cases there will be an indicator light on the DND button itself.
An accidental press of the DND button happens from time to time. Just remember if a phone mysteriously stops ringing, check that the phone is not in Do Not Disturb mode as your first step. Oftentimes, this is the case and being familiar with this feature can save you some valuable troubleshooting time. 😉 |
